Noemi Huiracocha

Noemi began her career with Grameen America in our earliest days, joining the Jackson Heights branch in 2009 as one of our first center managers. She continued her career and became one of our first internally promoted Branch Managers, initiating our second Queens office in July 2012. Our LIC branch became one of the fastest growing branches in Grameen America under her leadership, with nearly 900 borrowers in its first year and a record achievement of branch sustainability in just four years. 

Having successfully grown LIC-Jamaica to over 4000 active members, $6.7 million outstanding loan portfolio and 154% sustainability, Noemi transitioned to lead our Sunset Park, Brooklyn Branch in 2017. Under her leadership, the branch achieved 3,135 active members and  $5.58 million outstanding loan portfolio at the end of 2018.
