Carla Decker

Chief Executive Officer, SkyPoint Federal Credit Union

Carla Decker has deep-rooted experience in mission-driven credit union roles and serves as the CEO for SkyPoint Federal Credit Union. She has 30-years of credit union leadership experience with past roles, including both President and Chief Operations Officer of successful credit unions in the DC locale.

Her leadership experience, combined with her passion for community service, benefits both the internal staff and Credit Union members. She has served on multiple boards, including the National Cooperative Business Association, Cooperatives of the Americas, and Inclusiv. She co-founded the National Association of Latino Credit Unions and Professionals. Additionally, Carla designs and crafts curriculum for international Credit Union Development Education programs and has helped graduate over 1,500 credit union leaders from the Caribbean.

Carla has earned the Joe Biden Educator of the Year Award from the International Credit Union Leadership Foundation, twice made the list of 100 Most Influential People to the Hispanic Community in DC by El Tiempo Latino and was inducted into the African American Credit Union Coalition’s Hall of Fame.

She holds a master’s degree in International Commerce and Policy and a bachelor’s degree in General Studies and Finance.
