Grameen America was featured in the cover story of this month's issue of The Banker magazine. Reporter Jane Cooper, investigating innovation and business opportunity at the base of the pyramid, spoke to Stephen Vogel about how this segment does not just apply to emerging markets. "One of the definitions of poverty is that you have less money than you need to survive, whether that is $2 a day in India or $25,000 a year in New York with a family of four.
