One of the biggest obstacles faced by women entrepreneurs, especially low-income women entrepreneurs in the U.S., is the increasing credit gap between men and women. Despite carrying lower debt loads than men, women still have lower credit scores.
Without a credit score, life is more difficult and expensive. For the millions that either lack a credit score or have flawed credit history, this means higher interest rates, fewer housing opportunities, and many more barriers.
