Whole Planet Foundation supports Grameen America as it grows across the country. The Prosperity Campaign takes place in Whole Foods Market® through March 31st. Be sure to check out Grameen America materials at your local Whole Foods Market. The Prosperity Campaign brings together shoppers, employees (team members), Supplier Alliance for Microcredit partners and online donors to help impoverished people living in communities around the globe where Whole Foods Market sources products. The goal of the 2013 Prosperity Campaign is to raise $5.7 million for global poverty relief. Whole Foods Market Northeast Region Cultural Programs Team Leader, Danielle Sandars, describes the Grameen America-Whole Foods Market partnership as “our strongest local connection to Whole Planet Foundation. Grameen America not only supports Whole Planet Foundation directly but also supports our stores with their training materials, community outreach as well as program implementation during our Annual Prosperity Campaign.” Through our partnership, Whole Foods Market suppliers, employees and customers are able to give back to their own communities. Whole Planet Foundation creates “a local impact and our customers can see the direct work we support and feel more compelled to shop with a store that has a social conscience,” says Sandars. Join us to create jobs and empower women across the country. Here’s how you can get involved:
  • Shop at your local Whole Foods Market Store
  • Share our video with your friends
  • Donate at the register
