Nancy, an Indianapolis based artist who specializes in aluminum embossing, plans to expand business by purchasing art supplies to create more exquisite designs. Her dream is to one day open a second enterprise, a catering service and restaurant, which will allow her to involve her whole family in the business.    Nancy is a 22 year old artist, entrepreneur and Grameen America Borrower living in Indianapolis, Indiana. She is married and recently gave birth to a baby boy. When Nancy was younger, she developed an interest in the ‘Repujado’ style of aluminum embossing and took classes to perfect her technique. Her work consists of carving images onto thin sheets of aluminum and then painting and framing them for sale. Nancy was incredibly excited upon hearing about Grameen America’s microloan program and immediately decided to take out a loan to invest in art supplies so that she could create and sell a larger volume of her beautiful pieces of art.  So far, she has had great success selling her pieces to friends, local restaurants and churches.
